Hello everyone, new guy here. I just bought a 01 focus sedan 5 speed for cheap. It was an orig sohc that dropped the valve seat and underwent the zetec swap (seems pretty common). For the most part its in there but the wiring still needs to be done. I got the car as is with little to no information. Its got the full swap from an 03 hatch. Including all the wiring, fuse block, computers, tach cluster, fuel pump controller, header and downpipe, column plus key. Problem is i have no idea where to start. They seemed to have lost interest and just gave up. I need help figuring out whats been done and what hasnt. I got a trunk with a full wiring harness and i have no idea if its the zetec or sohc harness. Ill get some pics so you guys can see what im working with

So I noticed my pats light doesn't work. The one by the hazard switch. Upon further inspection I noticed it wasn't plugged in. The plug from the 03 harness and the 01 switch are different. Any way to make them work together?

The clicking is coming from the relay at r18. No difference in display with or with out r18 but clicking stops when its pulled

I found the plug for the hazard switch in the 01 harness. Cut it off with some pig tail but its got way more wires then I have with the 03 connector and none of the colors match

From what I've read r18 is for the rear window wiper? As the motor and all wiring came out of a hatch back and mines a sedan. I'm guessing its not seeing the rear wiper (as its not there) and that's why its clicking? Any objection to me removing it all together?

I'm trying to spend as little on this car as possible and ripping out the whole harness is out of the question. Could a pats issue cause the ------ on my gauge cluster? I have 3 total keys. I was told that two keys came with the 01 car and one came with the whole swap from the wrecking yard 03. I'm curious why I can open my doors and trunk with all 3 keys and all 3 work in my 03 column (currently the one installed) and the 01 one in my trunk. Can any focus key open my locks? Also anyone know the pin outs for the hazard switches? Trying to see if the pats lights giving me error codes or not.
