not sure if this should be posted here or the massive section but, are the supertech pistons they have on their site made for svt rods? it has them listed in submodel svt wondering if anyone can clarify i have a non svt zetec motor so if their for svt rods ill have to pass

i certainly hope they are for standard zetec rods because that is what i just bought for my build

no they are not made for standard rods. you must get an aftermarket rod such as an eagle rod in order to use them. no one currently makes a piston that will work with stock svt or zetec rods
when you go after market piston and rod there is no difference in the zetec and svt. stock there is a difference but that doesnt matter b/c no forged piston will work with either rod. the block and crank are the same between the zetec and svt so the pistons and rods are interchangable

I know o gotta change rods for afttermarket pistons when i looked at massive i didn't look in the custom section i just looked at regulat supertech and it only showedd svt on that list that's why i was confused

Haha oops i feel dumb those were high compression na pistons i was looking at. thanks for the link i see where i messed up now
