civic ex race?

ok i have a 2000 zx3 5spd /w header/ downpipe, mbrp exhaust, and a CAI, as well as not having tracting control or a/c....and im a relitivly good driver

theres a kid aroudn that thats a 2001 civic ex with header, exhaust and cai, maybe somethin i dont know about but thats all i saw.......

this kid was trashin the focus so i assume im gonna run into him sometime soon and take him out hopefully.....what are my chances against this car.....i have supriisingly little experience racing civics... lol so i dont know much about these.... its a 2001 ex....thanks for input guys

sorry i have a lil more info in the comparison.......im rolling on my stock 15's /w nice falken rubber and this kid has bulky 17's......thx for input guys im sorry if i sound immature but well this argument has been goin on for a while lol

I believe the 01 is the newest body style of civic. If it is, then you should be able to take him but it all depends on the driver. The style before the newest one was faster. I found that out when I had my 97 civic w/ intake, header, exhaust and beat one. If they can't launch there civic you should have no problem beating them.

thats what im thinkin....yes it is the new body style... i havent seen the kid race the car so i guess ill find out soon enough..... seems to me like ill walk it i mean they make 127 horse and only like 114 torque, and we have the same mods

so this kids saying hes got built internals blah blah blah we'll see hes all saying he's making 200 wheel HP......... so i called him out for this weekend ill keep u posted cuz i serously doubt he has that done

i beat a ex with an axle back when i was all stock...and i had him beat by about 2 car lengths. A header doesnt do much for a honda anyways, and cai doesnt either because honda comes with one hell of a good intake stock

My buddy had a 00 EX with a catback and intake. Thanks to it's SOHC engine of pure Honda fury, it didnt fair to well against....well anything.

I have taken out so many civic and cav. that its not funny anymore. I have yet to go against Integra with those 4 little project lights.

unless he's got a motor swap he'll get dropped. those kids are all talk 99% of the time. 200hp to the wheels my ass, not unless he put a japanese spec GSR motor in it or has a sleeper with FI
