2010 Diffuser 3D Carbon?

I want to add a little bit to the exterior of the Focus and was thinking of a rear diffuser. I have a few questions though.
1.) Is there more than just the one from 3D carbon?
2.) For the 3D Carbon one it is listed under 2009-11 coupe, but I have a 2010 SES 4-door, how much do I need to do to make it fit.?
3.) Are they just held on by clips?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

There is a sedan kit and a coupe kit.

The diffuser is held on by 3m tape around the top, 2 screws in the edge of each wheel well and two small Z shaped brackets on the underside. You just take out the 2 plastic clips that hold the bumper on and put the bracket in and replace the clip.

You will want to make sure that the diffuser will come with the hardware!

Just to be clear, it's not a "Diffuser" it just sort of (not really) looks like one.

The stock SES bumper has a "Valance" insert and the 3DCarbon rear lip is one molded piece. The black part you see is just painted black to look like an insert.

There are other rear lip kits you can buy, but none of them are worth a crap and they're all designed to fit the SE bumper and not the SES.

Cool, not gonna lie I was letting the ricer in me take over and was just getting it for looks, but now I'm thinking of spending the money on more go fast parts.


Is there any thing more aggressive looking for the insert on the SES bumper

I made my own.

This was my first attempt in making a rear diffuser. I like how it turned out, but I think it's too narrow. I was going to make one that went all the way across the rear bumper, but I'm abandoning the project and doing something else this year.

I'm doubt is does much, but I doubt the 3D Carbon one you're looking at does anything either. If this is the look you going for just go to the Home Depot and get some plexiglass. Make a pattern out of cardboard for the fins then cut out the plexiglass. I drilled and tapped the fins so the hole thing screws together. Then I wrapped the whole thing in 3M Di Noc.

Yeah that's...... not really a "diffuser" either. Maybe by definition, but in order to be a functional diffuser, it needs to reach under the vehicle and direct airflow. Yours is probably directing airflow, but not correctly.

In today's automotive design, most cars have simulated diffusers because a diffuser is typically seen on sports/racing vehicles and if you make a car look sporty, you'll sell more of them.
