Lowered the front a tad more, not really noticeable to most, but it's down. The frame rails are already lower in the front than the rear, but that rear wheel arch makes it look like reverse rake instead...oh well. The car rides great and I'm waiting for the suspension to settle for a week or so before I go and get an alignment...

Looks good with the roof rack.

I've got 18x8.5 +40 Tarmac's on the way and was so worried they wouldn't fit. This just took so much weight off my shoulders.

Car looks amazing, and thanks for helping me out and not having to return $1600 worth of wheels and tires heh. Cheers.

So we had a tiny bit of ice the other week and while it was a blast driving my car around by myself, it felt a bit uncomfortable slipping and sliding with my 2 year old in the back, so I went ahead and put my stock wheels/tires back on. I know that the Conti's will provide a better grip then the Federal's, plus I kinda like the look of 16's on a lowered Focus.

I'll be taking the VMaxx coilovers off probably on Monday or Tues. and selling them off, and hopefully I'll get the suspension setup I originally wanted buy couldn't afford at the time...

BTW, anyone wanna trade some black headlights for my chrome ones? [hihi]

Looks good even on the stock 16's
What stspension setup are you changing to and why?
I'm trying to go with a adjustable dampening coilover setup that has pillowball mounts with camber adjustment in the front coils. Was looking at getting what I originally wanted, the KSports, but I've got to see how my taxes will look this year...I really like the VMaxx coils I have now, I just want something a little more adjustable, especially since I'm planning on lowering the car a little lower and going with a different wheel setup...

Yes, that's right, the current 18's I have will be on the market shortly. Looking to do a slightly more aggresive setup in the future...

Cool, I'm still trying to understand coilovers setups.
How much adjustability do you currently have with your front and rear?

I have a lot of height adjustability in my current coilovers. I just don't have dampening adjustability, which I desperately want.

Finally fixed the clunking I've been having in the rear suspension...I guess someone at Ford decided that the rear sway bar mount didn't need to be tightened all the way [xx(]

Ended up being an easy fix. Raised the rear coils up a tad just to even out the look, which also ended up making the car ride a lot better. Also went ahead and debadged the rear and treated the car to a nice car wash...

I'm also thinking about selling my Voxx wheels and buying something a tad more aggressive in a brighter color...Anybody want to buy some 18'' rims for their MK3?

Did some "tweeking" to the front suspension and managed to get the front's lower by another 1/4-1/2'' to match the rear. Definetaly noticeable in my eyes and looks much better. Also fixed my curbed wheel and put the 18's back on...

Also went on a little bit of a spending spree and bought some more items for the car...

Lucked up and bought an AEM cold air intake off ebay for $200. Seller stated that the intake was bought new, placed on the vehicle, dyno tested, then taken off and boxed up. Seller wanted $275 for it, offered $200, and viola...SOLD! Only downside is that the intake is the polished aluminum and not the grey color, but I'm thinking that I'll take it to my local powdercoater and have him powder coat it wrinkle black.

Then I bought some stuff off of a forum member, got a great deal and fair price for:
Black Bezeled Ti/ST headlights
MS3 RMM
OEM Ford Mudflaps
OEM Ford Ash Tray/Coin Holder

And to complete my MS3 RMM, I went over to Corksport and ordered the RMM Urathane inserts...

Hopefully most/all the parts arrive by the weekend so I can do some wrenching!! [burnout]
