i love the fact that people are starting to post more pics of their st. its realy helping me make my final choice easier.
right of the bat i said the st2 but then i saw that you cant get the hids without the st3 package, then i decided i didnt want to sony system as im gonna tear it out and do my own build in it anyways but then i cant have the performance blue seats i want.

so far im still stuck on the texudo black st2 with performance blue seats, blacked out windows maybe smoke the tails, want a sun roof but still gotta keep the monthly payments down some. maybe get the sun roof and part out the sony system to a member on here you wanted it but didnt get it. thenget some 18" enkie and put the stock tires on that and get some snow tires for the stockers.

depending on the sound of the borla exhaust that are being made now and the magnaflow get one of those, the short shifter and rear sway from steeda and see what can be done to better the intake and ignition. tune once someone can.

If you grab a dealer brochure, it shows them much better than those pictures. They do take standard bulbs in the usual locations as you pointed out, but there are two horizontal LED strips in each light, located underneath the clear portion (reverse/turn).
I did a little digging (because I was curious and want to put the LED taillights in my ST3) and the Focus Electric taillights have a different taillight carrier harness but the connector that plugs into the car is identical to the standard 2013 Focus. Both are 5 wire, I think it's believable that this could be a plug and play swap. New Ford Taillights would come with the new carrier harness and I would expect them be in the $500-$600 range for a pair when they go into production in February 2013... If you could buy them today they could be had for $415 but I expect the prices to climb over the next few months as they get closer to being available.

Good to know, thank you bcschaff! Hopefully it turns out to be plug and play as you suspect. If I had a hatch I'd really want a pair of these.

North American ST-3 has the black housing

You can recognize North American ST-3 by the yellow reflector on the side of the head lamp housing which is a regulation
for front lighting in the USA

And why this headlamp is also NA spec.

Does anybody know if the tail lamp will fit a regular Focus
