I am needing to get suspension re-done, and i was looking around wondering what would be the best choice, i was leaning towards the eibach pro-kit, but i hear goods things about the H & R springs with kyb shocks, anyone have any experience with these, and what the draw backs if any of either are. Also, if i do this will have any problem with rubbing because every now and then i get a little tire rubbage on my front shock on the pass. side from the stock 15's.

You get rubbing on stock springs??? woah it sounds like you need an alignment real bad!! Anyways this is all a matter on how much you are willing to spend and what you are going after.

Best setup if money is not an option then go for coilovers. Tein or Ford Racing are the best.

Koni shocks and struts with Eibach springs is a good setup for everyday driving and some racing on the weekends.

H&R cup kit is a great daily driver setup as is eibach struts and shocks and eibach springs.

Yeah tell me about it i have no clue it seems to have laid off now since i didn't take it to ford to get work done, they seem to mess my stuff up a lot, but now it hasn't done it since i took it to a new shop to get aligned but it did a lot before, but anyways yeah i am not wanting to pay more about 800 to 1k for my suspension thats why the eibach kit looked good to me i want everything redone and it had all i wanted just not sure if it is worth the money. I am looking to have a good daily driver setup with a nice autoX weekend thing.

anybody ever try the KW springs from Ford Motorsports catalog? I've asked this question before but never gotten an answer.

Or how about the Spax units?

how 'bout the ford racing springs? wondering about how good those are...

if you knwo anyhtign abotu ford you shoudl know they r not known for suspension products. they spring rate is abotu half as stiff as h&r race springs. your bets set up besides gettign coil over would be koni adjustables with h&R race springs it will cost you about 800 for both maybe 750

kyb arent as good as koni. if u r serious abotu racign and want to be competitive u need to go with koni. most national championship auto-x cars ins tock classes use koni. to gett hat 2" drop u r gonan have to sacrafice for a little rougher ride. but come on u have the rest of your life ot have a comfy car have one now that can eat the crap out of a corner

The ride doesn't mean anything to me! I want to build my car so I can hit the corners hard and not have to worry about if I am going to come out of it or not? And I want to be able to do some street style racing/drag racing now and again. I am probably not going to be doing any autocrossing. I am looking @ Eibach Sportlines cause the fender gap looks real nice, but I am not sure how they would perform compared to my SVT suspension, and others?

well f u wananjust drag race i have no clue. why u bought a svt to drag race is beyond me considerign they were made for the track but oh well another svt int he drain

svtfocusman: harder-corners = anti-roll kit. Or just a 22mm+ Rear Sway bar. Contact Walter Marcy at marcymotorsport.com If you'd like to purchase the 32mm rear sway bar (once it's released).

With a sway-bar of that magnitude, it's going to handle much differently. (maybe better, maybe worse, it depends on the application).

want a stiffer suspension for less Get spax, koni, or kyb adjustables.
you can't go wrong--either one of those will be at least close to twice the rating of your stock SVTF dampers. Match those with Any spring of your choice.

The price isn't really a matter (I would like to spend as little as possible, but don't want a "you get what you pay for deal.") but coilovers are too much for my driving needs. I am thinking of going with Sportlines, should I go with their dampers or are their better ones out their? And do you have any links of places to buy from? Or pics of Foci's with set-ups on them?
