Ya stock speakers are good, I'm upgrading front ones, and wondering if I should eliminate or can leave stock ones on the back, and that dilemma comes from the fact that I'd need to deaden the panels behind back speakers to keep it uniform sounding with deadened front.

Little did I know how much time and work would installing the new sound system cost me over last 2 months, but yeah it's worth it.

CHRIS!!!!

i have gotten busy... esp at night and whatnot... during the day i work..
but i am needing to get some of my tools back from you lol...
i know you have my colored 13 socket... torx bits... jack stand.. and my gloves (if there are any left) ahhahahah...

not complaining... just i went looking for some of them and was like "oh yeah... chris has them" hahaha

reeeeealy?? I know nothing of this ;)

gloves, hm...... they are like water, evaporate over time, you know :D
aaaaand you forgot to mention timing belt tensioner :p

you can come whenever you want, as long as it's next week, Friday or Saturday, haha, cause that's when I'll be struggling with wheel bearing and suspension swap :p

decided to work and on audio today, and leave the hard work for next week so I have more time to read about it, and also start hitting bolts with PB Blaster over those 7 days to make it less of a PITA when I get on it.

so worth it though [thumb] if you replace one speaker you should replace them all JMO [thumb]

oh I forgot to mention that squeaky sound are the sway bar end links.... the suspension turned out to be fine, with no leaks and still in decent shape, which of course I found out after the new suspension arrived, heheh, so now I'm in hunt for end links and probably will use autozone ones, yaaa more $ out of my empty pocket :(

but I'll try to offset it by selling my used suspension, I imagine if i put it up for around $100 some of the non-SVT owners will jump at it to get lower ride and better handling for cheap.

wheel bearing on the other hand..... makes me pray every time I get into my car, for that it wouldn't seize when I'm at highway speeds, it's really that bad, and above the noise and vibrations I noticed the negative camber angle on that wheel is increasing too :/ I got me the hub and bearing assembly to make it a lil easier, but I know it's gonna be a PITA anyway, and extremely time consuming since when I'm there i need to change the end links and suspension too.

If you guys could see my browser over past few weeks, like just now I have around 20 tabs open about calculus, about 12 on quadratic equations, also around 12 on social studies, 20 on ford focus 'HOW TOs' + youtube, and South Park website, AND a nice set of 500+ pages books on my desk. uggghhhh ... I .. neeed.... some ... life PLEASE :p

once i'm down there doing all the work there will be some intensive cleaning going on too (to avie: i'm still talking about cars..), what would you recommend to spray or dip the parts with once they clean, to keep em in good shape and protected for long time?

btw. anyone knows if the end links are same on SVT as on regular foci?

So on the way to work I notice my temp guard starting to climb while I was at a light. So the light changes and I go and its still climbing slowly. I check my steering and the dash and its ok so the belt is ok. Temp keeps climbing so I pulled into a lot across from work shut it down and pop the hood. That stupid plastic coolant tube cracked just like on the Kona so my fluid went byebye. Did a temp repair and tomorrow I will swap it out with new one from the Kona. Good start to my day.

Where is this plastic tube at? I want to look at it on my Focus, if its pron to cracking/breaking, then I want to replace mine now, before I get stranded with my young kids in the car.....

I got called off tonight, this is ridiculous I already have no money as it is. So pissed at my work right now.

Yes regular focus end links are the same as normal foci. Don't change you outer tie rods unless you plan on getting a alignment done. Have you priced all those parts from Rockauto?

I think I found it, right in the center, above passenger fan?? Has 1 hose on passenger side, and 2 hoses on driver side of it??

It's rivited in and not bolted?????? That's stupid of Ford..... Put something plastic that close to hot radiator, and right infront of the header and make it out of plastic, they could of moved it down under radiator or something, so it wouldnt get soo hot and break..... Plus they could of put some screws to hold it instead of rivet it to the core support....

#15,459 ·
Now that I'm saying this I'm sure it will break now, but mine has never broken on the Yeller car and the SVT's is tucked under the upper radiator support with zip ties. It was just dangling there when I got it lol

Holy crap, i went and did some maintenance on one of my vehicle's I have and found something sooo strange....

I have a 4 cyl motor, but instead of it having only 4 plugs and wires and 1 4-port coil.... it's a 4cyl with 8 plugs, 8 wires, and 2 4-port coil packs.... It's more like a V8 setup, but its a 4cyl motor....
