so im gonna fiberglass my front door and put 2 mids and 2 tweets in each front door.

i either want to do a rockford t2 6.5 componet set per door or 2 punch pro 6" or 8"'s and 2 punch pro tweeters per door. deoending on cost and im keeping it all rockford

the wiring is where i would need the help.

i have now idea exactly how to do the componets seeing as to how i have never dealt with components. but i would be wanting to have about 300-400watts rms per door.

but if i do the punch pro mids and tweets im thinking about getting 2 t400.2 and get 4 4ohm mids and wire them to 2ohms per channel, amp is rated to do 200x2 at 2ohms so they would be getting about 100watts rms each. then getting 4 8ohm tweets and wiring them to 4ohm per channel, and the amp is rated for 120x2 at 4ohms so the tweets would be seeing about 60watts rms each.

before you ask why so much into the front sound stage, i will be putting 4 t2 12s running off about 5000rms and need the mids and highs to keep up. yes i know in my sig its says im gonna turbo the car and i still plan on it but im not doing it be the fastest or race just to make the car a little bit more fun.

Are you using two separate amps? One for the mids, one for the highs?

This should work fine.

so far that is the plan since i will have 4 highs and 4 mids all together. have the mids off on amp and highs off the other.

Well its not brand i need help with. Its the wiring. If i was to put 2mids and 2 highs off each front cannelloni how should i do it? I can get the miss in either 4 oh or 8 ohm along with the tweets. Would i be able to run 2 4 channel amps one for the right door one for the left or would my suggestion in the first post work? I want the punch pros i just need to fiugre out the wiring and what amps

You could always run one 2 channel @ 2ohms for both sets of comps.

Food for thought.......................

thought about doing it that way for both the tweeters and the mids. the 400.2 is rated to do 200x2 @ 2ohm and 120x2 @ 4ohm so i would still be seeing 60 per tweet and 100 per mid but would have less wire overall saving a little bit of money. doing a 2 channel on the tweets i would rather have both tweets near each other though so maybe on tweet in the lower a piller and ont in the upper a piller?

Keep the tweets right next to eachother, below ear level and directed at the seat on the other side. Look at SQ set ups for reference.

well, i was thinking if i do the tweets on the door i could aim one more across and one up. maybe the same with the mids? im realy not going for sq just making sure my mids and highs can keep up with my lows after i put 4 12s with 5krms in... will be a good amount of time before i will have everything i need but it will get done. might buy 2 tweets and mids and an amp next month but then agian i might by the new h/u instead lol..

ok, so the amps will all be in the far back so i would have to run wires from the back to the front. i would rather not have to run 2 wires per channel with their being 6-8 channels total. so i was thinking 2 t400.2. its rated for 200x2@2ohms and 120x2@4ohms. then i would only have to rune 2 wire per channel with only 4 channels so 8 wires back to front rather then 12-16 wires.

the mids would be wires at 2 ohms for about 100 watts per 6.5mid

the tweets would be wired at 4ohms for about 60 watts each

I usually do 1 amp for highs and 1 amp for mids then go through a crossover. But with my Focus and limited space I opted for a 5 channel and not using the 5th anymore but still going through a crossover .

Im gonna go with 2 t400.2 4 8ohm tweets wire to one at 4 ohms and 4 4ohm 6" mids wired at 2 ohm. That will give me 120 x 2 @ 4ohm 60 Watts a price for the tweets. Then 200x2 @2ohms for 100 watts per mid
