From what I understand, there is quite a bit of work to be done as the whole system works off of vacuum and other components. Most people who have tried have found that It is not worth the money.

Alternatively, I know some people who have installed hand-throttles on their vehicles. They are normally used for handicapped folk, but can be installed on most cars and have a lock to set a certain throttle position. Its not quite the same, and doesnt cancel automatically when you hit the brakes, but it may be another solution that could work for you.

It's actually pretty easy. I installed it on my last focus. The biggest pain is that you have to run a wire from the drivers side to the pass side and tap into a wire my the Fuel Cutoff reset switch.

Other than that you swap wheels and add a switch to the brake (Also the clutch if it's stick)

What do you mean swap the wheels? I have an auto. I have to swap my wheels??

Sorry, I should have specified. Swap out your steering wheels. They give you a new wheel with the cruise controls attached to it. You install it and swap in your airbag to it.

Make sure you order the right color.

2007 focus se

I have a 2007 focus se that did not come with factory cruise, really need it, ford company told me when i called that all i needed was a new steering wheel, i ordered it came in and then told me oh thats for a 2008 we are sorry... well now i have the steering wheel, has anyone added it with the factory switches, or has anyone added a rostra kit how hard was it, and does it work correctly thanks for any help.

Hmmmm. I have a 2000 Kona(totaled from side impact) with cruise. Guess I could swap the steering wheel and the module in the engine bay over. What about where to tap into for power and connecting it to the ecu.
