Today was a sad day today. I sold my 2002 Sonic blue Focus SVT 3-door hatchback. It was my daily driver for for about 1yr. and I enjoyed every moment of it! It was such a thrill to drive, own and take care of! I purchased the car from a private owner as a daily driver so that I could get accustomed to having a manual for a DD. I didn't realize just how remarkable the car really was, especially at 91K on the odometer. It's just one of those cars.... it had the looks, the handling and a fun factor that I never imagined. I can see now how so many members have owned more than one of these cars, I want to get into another SVT as soon as I have the room to store it! I recently picked up an Evo IX after 2 1/2 yrs of looking and that along with a Mustang (ROUSH stage 3) in the garage there just isn't room for my SVTF. As soon as I figure out my storage situation A Focus is number one on the list. I may look at picking up a new Focus SE or SEL as a DD for me and my family. That would also allow me to stick around the forum community a bit longer... as I really enjoyed my time with the Focus community. A big thanks to all those who attended Carlisle Ford it really was an amazing experience for me as a Focus owner!

Car was on Craigslist for literally a day and a half and I had 3 people who SERIOUSLY wanted the car. By the end of the week I had FIVE people interested in the car. The car was bought by a forum member who happened to see my add posted on Craigslist here in MN. I'm hoping the new owner has as much fun with the car as I did, and will hopefully keep the car in as good a shape as I tried too. It deserves such treatment for sure.
Thanks for reading.
And thanks to the forums for all their knowledge and assistance in helping to own such a wonderful automobile!
