^^ you also can't tune your car radio during a drive in movie. Not only will it drain your battery but it will turn off anyhow after a few minutes.

Actually it would stay on for 1 hr in one hour mode after you turned the radio on after turning off the ignition, then you'd need to make sure to restart it before the end of the hour to get you into the second half of the first movie.

^ Allegedly MFT doesn't comply by the 1-hour mode's name, and instead shuts off much quicker. Something about it being a battery drain. It is running Windows Embedded Automotive, after all!

I think the real problem here is that you're eating in a new car. No one eats in mine! :(

No, it'll still stay on for an hour. If you just hit the button to turn on the Sync system it will stay on for 15 min then complain about the battery savings and shut off. If you shut off the entire system then just hit the Power button on the radio itself, it'll stay on for an hour.

Hmmm, mine stays only 30 minutes on if I hit the power button. [confused]

Yum! I don't think fords engineers considered the possibility of drive-ins... Too bad.

id be worried about the tray scratching the tint off the inside of the window
+ another 1

Those hooks don't even have vinyl protecting them. [scratch]

It was a nice evening, so I decided to go for a trip in the Garden State to a Weber's Root Beer Drive-In. I encountered a bit of a problem with the window as 1950s drive-in technology is slightly incompatible with 21st century automobiles.
