Who's Got the Most Miles On Their '12

The highest mileage '12 Focus I see listed on autotrader.com has 56,000 miles. Anyone got that much or more and what wear and tear items are you seeing going first? How long did the stock tires last? Brakes?

This won't be truly indicative since to get that many miles you must be doing primarily highway driving so brakes and the like should last longer per mile driven. Still, would be interesting to hear some stories.

Im just under 10,000, had it since Aug 22.

6500 or so, had mine since May and here's a list of things that have happened since then
miles are approximate*

300 miles oil gusher (faulty dipstick tube)

1000 first tranny freakout

1500 First oil change (by hand, peak full Synthetic and Bosch Filter)

2500 Almost crashed as a result of excessive hydroplaning-Swapped out awful LRR Conti's for Michelin's Primacy MXV4's

3400 Second tranny freakout

4500 Second Oil change (dealership)
replaced faulty, drift inducing steering rack
Re-flashed PCM with latest software

5000 Suspension issues (dealer tech hadn't torqued many bolts properly)

5200 stalled out in my neighborhood (Bad gas, electrical glitch?)

5700 third tranny freakout

nothing else so far. I plan to change the oil every 4500-5500 from now on; just wanted to be extra careful for the first few thousand miles.

What do I mean by a tranny freakout? Either a random shift spazz attack or an abnormally large clunk and grind session. (no, not that you perverts)

Whoa. How do you keep from going out on 50-mile joyrides every weekend with a car that drives as great as this??? [scratch]

Have had mine since April 25th last year and have 11,800 miles on it

How can you know who has the most mileage, if we don't know what every ones current mileage is?

If I did not know Jdog had 18,xxx I would have thought I had the most

13,200 miles now on a new Titanium almost all the options.

3,000 miles full loss of MTS.

5,000 miles loss of front driver’s seat controls.

5,000 miles wheel bearing noise between 55 and 70 MPH. Finely replaced both front bearings at 13,000 miles after an extensive fight with FORD.

10,000 miles headliner fell down.

Since new, rear spoiler not aligned. Way to close on one side, very noticeable. Waited until car in for wheel bearing replacement as they had it several days.

I will say FORD finely took care of the problems, but could have done sooner without so much resistance as they were clearly problems to be adjusted under warranty. It was a special order delivered in May 2011 and fixed in Feb. 2012. [headbang]
