Timing belt or Timing chain????

I have a 1999 ford focus 1.8 zetec(T reg)
Question; does my car have a timing belt or timing chain, someone told me that the year my car was made they made 3 different versions, 2 of which had a timing belt and the other a timing chain, i have someone coming to look at my car just to check the timing belt for me as i have just purchased the car, but was wondering if anyone knew the answer before he turns up[wave]

Zetec engines have timing belts, Duratec engines have timing chains. I'm not sure about SPI engines, but pretty sure they have belts, as well.

SPI is a timing belt also.
