Using WI-FI

Can anyone share how to access the internet in the car? I have no data package with my phone but someone said if your parked outside a hot spot (like starbucks)you can surf the web and emails? How does that work, how do i access it on the screen?
I have a loaded tit hb with nav/sync.

Maybe somewhere down the line with a SYNC app you can, but there's no broswer/email functionality. For now the car can just use a broadband USB adapter to make the entire car a hotspot. Say you have a USB 3G card for a laptop, plug it into the car and the car becomes a hotspot for all devices in it, not just the laptop.
