I made out nicely on it. I got it in a bundle deal from craigslist years ago. Got four pioneer 6x8's (in the focus now), the kenwood amp that just sold, and monster cable wire. For get this....40 bucks lol. All together it sold for 50 bucks, 30 for the amp and 20 for shipping.

Well of course this 8 is not going to just bolt in. Should have known, tis my luck for things to go this way. Now that I got the factory 8 out I'm thinking maybe I should have gone for a 10 instead. I have to get a trim ring to bolt in place of the slightly larger factory speaker opening then bolt the 8 to it.
Oh scary thought here. The factory 8 has a bigger magnet than the ones I got eeek. But the cone is much harder to move so surely it can take more power than the factory speaker.

I really want to Reskin my Radio shifter bezel in Carbon fiber or something... it was originally silver, i painted it black, now its all scratched up and gouged from sanding/painting/sanding/melting etc.. lol..
Not sure what other types of materials would look good resined up in the ole center console
