I'm looking at a Tuxedo Titanium Sedan with pretty much every option (401A, handling, parking, winter, moonroof, exterior protection, door sills, and nav) and it seems none of the dealers around me (95054) have that combination I think because they don't have the winter package.

My questions:
What's the invoice on that combo?
Any incentives I should know about?
Will I lose bargaining power if I special order?
I know you don't have a crystal ball, but does Ford typically do 4th of July specials?
Sorry, one more question: Can dealers typically do window tinting? Is that something I should ask them about?

Thanks!

Tough to find for sure, I found 1 Titanium with:
-interior styling
-premium paint
-winter pkg
-parking pkg
-18" wheels
-moonroof
-remote start

Invoice on this one is $26,266 with MSRP of $28,135. You should be in the $26,000 range for invoice.

If you order incentives are tough to guarantee based on current inventory, we had 9 Focus' in stock and are now down to 1 in a matter of 1 week. Ford looks at this across the country to determine to increase or decrease incentives plus market share of the segment.

You shouldn't lose bargaining power since you're ordering, the dealer pays no floor plan interest on the vehicle and should make a minimum profit and you should feel like you got a good deal.

Ford is already doing their July 4th promo's, nothing new for Focus besides a 5/100 powertrain and one user here got $1,000 military up from $500 but that is region specific.

Sorry but I cannot give this information only your dealer can.

Just got my vin # today. I ordered a 2012 ford focus hatchback titanium on June 5. Can you tell me if it has been built and the ETA? vin #1SAHP3N28CL193307. Thank You

Is there a part number yet for the "Titanium" engine cover? What is the cost? Was its discontinuance by the factory due to a problem or a perceived problem, or simply cost reduction?
If there's no problem, I want to order one.

There is no trade-in assistance at all on a Focus, the only $1,000 is on a Super Duty. But if they don't know their program then have them put it on the paperwork and it's their fault in my opinion.
Turns out- now they agree- Oops.. They were wrong. I figured they were just trying to get me in the door- thus I didn't believe them and told them so.

And how does trade in work? They give me a check for it as a separate transaction? I have never done a trade -in before.
I thought I read somewhere that you could use the trade in againast the sale price and thus pay less in taxes- but the dealer told me that's not true.

By the way Ford Shareholder services STILL has not gotten back to me with a PIN #. So I may have to pay the $40 and do it through that aircraft society thing someone listed on here.

Another quick question. Is there any way you could check and see whether I have a $750 rebate coupon coming? Last name is Parks, and zip code is 38401.

I decided on the SE hatchback in frosted glass with the 203a package. My brother-in-law's dealership acquired one through a dealer trade today and would really like me to come pick it up on Thursday to help close out their month. If I am getting a coupon but it isn't here yet, can the dealership access that information and still give me the rebate? I am already getting an excellent deal with the D Plan price, but a little more never hurts!

This also goes out to anyone who preordered a Focus recently. Did you have to pay for it when you ordered it, or when you picked it up?
You may or may not have to leave a deposit depending on the dealer. Your choice of build options will likely play a part in this. The contract isn't signed and payment completed until the car is delivered. I left a $1k deposit which didn't bother because I have every intention of completing the purchase. Your mileage may vary.

Ah, that's good. I've been saving up for a downpayment the ST and I don't think I'd be able to buy it if preorders start in late October.
Thanks!

Depending on your state you get a tax break.

Example:
Sales Price $25,000
Trade-in value $12,500
Payoff $12,500
If you purchase outright at 8.1% tax you would pay $27,025 OTD
With your trade-in you would pay $26,012.50 OTD

Therefore you have to sell your car privately for $13,500 to make it worth your while.

No rebate yet, however D plan does not qualify for any mail offers unfortunately. It's like double dipping so you can go in and purchase now because Ford won't give you both.

Ahh maybe California doesn't give the tax break? Seems like they are saying- trading in my car is the same as cash. They cut me a check- I then put that check toward the down payment instead of taking it off the final sale price of the car.

Interesting way to do it, I'd call another dealer and ask or better yet call the county you live in and see if there is a break, could be leaving money on the table.

I just found out I qualify for X-Plan pricing through my employer. Is there still room to go down from there? For example, a dealer was offering VIN 1FAHP3J28CL155436 for $26k even. Considering the X-Plan MSRP is only a couple hundred more than that, is that really the best I can expect?
