I'm a newbie when it comes to car modding and mechanic work, but i'm dying to learn. My quesiton is that i'm thinking of getting a front and rear bumper kit plus side skirts to add to my 2000 Ford Focus ZX3. If and when I do this these are my specific questions:

1) How do the bumpers/skirts attach to my existing body? Is this something that i'm going to have to mod myself or will I simply remove existing bolts, add the new part, and put the old bolt back on?

2) When I get my new bumpers/skirts and I go to have a shop match the paint to my car what is a good price to expect to pay for the kit to be painted?

Thanks to all in advance.

Here is a link for body kit installation . . . These should be general guidelines for you to follow (is instructions come with the kit you receive... follow those) I'm not sure if this set of instructions go for every body kit out there... but it is off of focushacks.

For price... I can't really help you there . . . maybe $400 for all four pieces? :/

Cheers!

Every kit will be different. If you're putting on factory parts, they will normally mount fairly securely....aftermarket kits sometimes screw through to an existing panel, and sometimes they just use sticky tape to hold things on.
