i've been having cooling fan issues for a while now. i'm stumped. i have mine rigged to run by bypassing the a/c low pressure switch and unplugging the compressor. this works for now however i would like to get them to run normal. i've replaced both fan relays, resistor between the fans, line to the resistor, and cht sensor. what should i do/check next? i have only the haynes manual to go by so any/all help is appreciated.

have you checked the fuses?? Also check your coolant temp .. MAYBE, and I may be wrong, but if your thermostat is stuck open, your coolant temp may be lower than the treshhold for the fans to kick on.. also test the coolant temp sensor.

Is this a duratec? Any check engine lights?

It seems like an issue somewhere other than the fans since they DO run...

fuses are all good. it's a 2.0 zetec so it has a cylinder head temp sensor. coolant is full & new. thermostat was just replaced. i read somewhere that these fans will not come on till 104C. is this true? i don't want it going that high.
