update. i didnt adjust the cables at all but she started giving me all the gears again, however i ahve around a half inch of play in the shifter. so it looks like i need to get in there anyhow.
i solved my issue without having to adjust cables. i bled the clutch line out and it improved dramatically. i ahve some slop in the actual shift mechanism though..
my prblem might be back after a triple digit run. i'm starting to think my shifter base is worn out.
re adjusted my cables again. how many times will i ahve to do this before i wont ahve to touch it for months.
There is supposed to be this little square plastic bit on the cable where two sides of it gets worn and that's what gives it the play. Just turn that bit 90 degrees. Someone did a how-to on it, but i don't remember if it was on here or FJ.
