Personally I couldnt give 2 craps about which kit anyone chooses anymore...... Randy fans are gonna get his, Toms fans are going to get his or which ever he recommends and no matter which one you go with theres gonna be a bitch fest... if never fails.

Find the kit that already has the stuff in it you want and buy it and be happy.

BUT blow through drives better than suck through... from a purely driving standpoint.

a few more things...

where does the oil feed line for the turbo connect to the car (in fswerks kit)?

has anyone added an intercooler that was not from fswerks? I would assume it is pretty difficult to get the tubing made for this if you do not buy their kit add on.

The oil feed taps right in by the oil filter. The kit will include all the necessary hardware and instructions with pictures as to where it needs to go. It's very straight forward.

As far as using another intercooler other than FSWerks, I don't think I know anyone who has done that. It is doable, you would just need to get some piping, some straight pieces and bends and have someone custom fab them to fit your setup.

installation is very straight forward. i purchased my kit used off another member and did not come with the 35 page manual. i had some pictures to go off during installation and still completed it over the weekend. Randy was very good for the tuning, i sent the money through to him on friday night and had a base stage 2 tune and datalogging instructions within a couple hours of sending through. Whenever i called them they were very helpful and when i posted in their section on [FJ] vik always responded in a timely fashion if i was having an issue with anything during install.

no matter what you go with for boost, i will tell you one thing, you will enjoy it SOOOO much. only thing is, its frigging addicting and hard to not want to turn the boost up higher.

good luck with what ever outlet you go with for mo-powa.

Ive heard that dual ports are hard to get running right since the system is designed for diverter only?

@jamiuzx4 - do you have stage 2? and did you upgrade your exhaust when you put the turbo on?

lastly, did everyone do a compression test before going boosted? I'm going to try and get that done today and order my kit if theres still time!

I have a slightly larger intercooler on my FSWerks kit. The intercooler is an inch taller and 4 inches wider. I cut the silicone couplings and it fits. Barely.

It's actually the one that the black sema car was running that made 436whp. I bought it used from them. I'm not sure what they replaced it with.

allllllllllright. let me just go ahead and kill that convo with some more questions...

who has hooked up an aftermarket oil pressure guage? what does it take its reading from?

also I am assuming this AEM wideband gauge is one that many people use http://www.buyimportperformance.com/AEM_UEGO_Digital_Wideband_Air_Fuel_Gauge_30_4100_p/30-4100.htm?

forgive my lack of knowledge on all of this, but how do you data log the information seen by this gauge? actually, if someone could summarize the datalogging process that would be fantastic. All I know right now is that you need a laptop.
