Water hitting the MAF
That's a sensor right? Where is it and what do I check forcheck your tps if you got any water at all in there it could have blown it i went though this prob so many times when i had a cai installed
Just saying its not properly installed helps me zero. What is wrong? I did find a L shaped cut/hole in the wheel well so i think the tire was basically spraying the filter... I patched that. The purple part is NOT your maf , the maf is more then likely what the filter is clamped to and has wiring going to it and by the pictures you posted earlier is not properly installed and why your getting water in it when its raining

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/jesseburgess/IMG_1218.jpgit is on the side of the throttlebody take it off to check and see if there is any water still in there(ive had some 5 days even after it rained) or to see if the center part just falls out either way it is shot and you have to replace it
ok going to check it out now. is this a stock part? can i just pick one up at napa?yes that is your tps (throttle postion sensor)
Tom told you how to make it right in your other thread.Just saying its not properly installed helps me zero. What is wrong? I did find a L shaped cut/hole in the wheel well so i think the tire was basically spraying the filter... I patched that.
Retuning and changing the BOV has nothing to do with the filter sucking in waterTom told you how to make it right in your other thread.
Nope, he said re-do your piping so that you are blow-thru, which means your MAF would be nowhere near the filter. Additionally, I'm sure you can buy a coupler, some clamps, and a 45* intake pipe to angle the filter up.Retuning and changing the BOV has nothing to do with the filter sucking in water
i dont think that was the right part i took off.. heres pics, theres nothing there to look at.yes that is a stock part if you are or were sucking in water im 99% sure you killed your tps
It is already angled almost straight up inside the bumper.Nope, he said re-do your piping so that you are blow-thru, which means your MAF would be nowhere near the filter. Additionally, I'm sure you can buy a coupler, some clamps, and a 45* intake pipe to angle the filter up.
It didnt do this before all the wet weather though. That could be true. I'm not surprised you still get the stalling issue. As we said before, you are venting metered air. If you move the MAF *after* the BOV, all will be well.
