Great thread. The wheels look great!

I still get a lot of questions related to the how-to thread I made. At the end of the day, there are always many ways to get the same results. I did what I know works for me, and using a product I believe in.
I didn't use the clear coat, as I wanted that satin look. I'm pretty happy with the results! and even now, all this time later, I can honestly say my wheels look almost exactly the way they did when I first painted them. Even when they get very dirty, one cleaning with soap and water and they look great again. Sure, a few tire changes and rock chips later I have had to touch them up a few times (I use a similar looking paint and put it on with a brush) but I expected that.

^^Hey your how-to worked I didn't follow it to the T but it greatly helped me. Oh man I was walking out to my car yesterday morning or was it today? Any ways man it looked so bad arse! I could see the reflections of the lights in the parking lot from 50 feet away! I'm thinking of painting my hood now too. black and yellow look great together. Can't believe I didn't do this any sooner.

Now here is a question. Should I give ShamrockSVT more FF rep? lol Will I be number 72? tune in next week.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought self-etching primer was only to be used on bare metal that hasn't been etched already. Unless one is sanding/blasting/dipping down to the bare metal a different primer would be appropriate.
