Engine Wiring Diagram

Hey i just went through an engine rebuild now everything is back together and the car was running nice for about 2-3 mins and then it bogged out and shut off.

i think some of the electric fuel injector wires may have got crossed but any and all wiring diagrams would be appreciated.

and yes i did search for them i couldn't find anything.

You didnt cross any fuel injector wires, the harness only fits one way.

Plus it wouldnt have ran for 2 minutes before dieing.

Check your MAF, O2 sensors and other wires like that.

Yeah I was gonna say...unless you are literally *cutting* wires to get them off, you can't cross anything. Harnesses only connect one way...if you frayed some of the wires and they're touching that could be a problem. But yeah, when your MAF is screwed up, your car tends not to run.

Frayed wires. Dirty MAF. Really you just need to back go over *every* connector...sorry...

Ok will I feel retarted I found a hanging connector in betweeny TB and fuel rail but I can,t figure out what it connects to

does it idle rough? throw a code? If so it's probably the 02 censor or MAF Censor

is that your tps? (throttle position sensor)

Either goes to the throttle position sensor or the cam position sensor... which is right infront of it on the drivers side of the head (right at the corner)

Or the IACV, which if it is the engine would stall when the connector fell off.

when i get more light i'll take more pictures but until then thank you all for your input i think i'm narrowing down the options rather fast.

Its going to be one of those 3 things..... its not long enough to reach anywhere else.

yeah id say idle air. which is directly under the TB and hard to see from up top

What are the colors of the two wires in the connector?

i'm 90% sure they are yellow and black.

Pull the rubber elbow off, you'll see the IACV connector right there.

ok i was wrong i went an checked it's two wires one is orange with a white line and one is white with a purple line.
