my elegant green passat: Der Schildkröte

thanks guys. im not gonna go massively low...just a bit lower in front, unless i get a mad deal on coilovers soon.

because i am getting a type 1 beetle in a few months, gonna be black on aviator grey and slam it to the ground.

That does look pretty clean. Decent deal on it too. Seeing the car without the front badge, it just kind of looks like something is missing. It's a small tasteful amount of bling. I wonder also how it would look if the black lower body cladding were body color, but easier said than done. Not to jack your thread, but I'm in San Diego right now for a minute and within half an hour saw 2 beater Civics with unpainted body kits and some kid riding a bicycle no-hands while playing a guitar. The freakshow that is Cali has begun.

yea thats kinda of my thing. i have only the VW emblem on the back. here is a picture of an elegant green with the lower cladding painted.

Now seeing the car with the emblem I agree that it does seem to need it in the front. I like both styles, but Idk what I would do.

yea, i dont know. i have the stock grille, just no emblem in it. i can get an emblem for cheap so i may do that and take some pics and then see which i like more.

LOL very true. the 1.8t is a rock solid motor. i hear very few major problems with them.
