well i've got the new header and exhaust on(OBX/Borla) and now all i need is the flex. im wondering if i'll see/feel any significant change in sound/performance with the FS flex pipe, and if its the best one for the cost(109). i guess you could say it just urks my bones that the only part of the system thats factory is the flex, so i HAVE to have it, thats just how i operate. if there's anything better out there, in the same price range, i'd like to know...late
 
Most of the flex pipes I have seen claim a 1-3hp improvement throughout the rpm band with race header and catback already installed. I would call FS and they should be able to provide you with the dyno data - no dyno data means BS advertisement. I would also make sure that no matter who you order from, you make sure that it can mate up with you catback and race header. Different companies use different diameter pipes, and that can cause trouble during the install.
 
BTW, FS flex pipe is aluminized steel with ceramic coat, not stainless. That is probably why it is cheaper than other manufacturer's, like Focus Central's stainless one. Living in the NE, I would recommend the stainless due to the harsh winters. I plan on buying nothing but stainless exhaust components for my car. Hence, why I went with MBRP. Stainless and inexpensive.

yeah, definately only interested in t304 merchandise. the winters up here are extremely shitty, so... anyway, thanks for the input. whiteboy, im'a take a look at the bosal flex today, thanks for the tip. late
 
i would go with the bosal, or a 2.5" flex. I dunno which borla you have but a 2.5" flex will flow good :)
 
That guy hit me up on aim to make him a signature. He gave me the two pictures and said they were his and his brother's cars. So I made the sig. A few days later he told me I had to change the sig because his "brother" didn't like having a picture of his car online... Little did I know. [rolleyes]
