I love mine. Though the freakin cat bracket is now ratteling around.
There is no CAT bracket to use with the CFM-HFC. [dunno]

You'll love it! [;)]
Be sure to soak down the bolts with some PB Blaster (or WD40, or Liquid Wrench) for a day or two before attempting to loosen them up if you live in a corrosive climate at all.

well its in. and it sounds fantastic. oh and i wish i had seen this. it took like and hour longer then i thought it would cause i had to soak the nuts with some corrosion stuff and it stunk. but i got it. and now my car is awesome. well more awesome. the install was easy except for the nuts being rusted. and i did it when it was hot so that made it a little harder. i love it though. has more power down low and it sounds great a little more throaty down low to.

man I need to order one of those lol, I've been trying to pick an exhaust system for about 3 months now :)

this is deffinatly the way to go man. it sounds awesome with my borla and the power at low rpms is just outragous. its awesome.

if you procharge you'll need to go to a 3" exhaust.

Got a sound clip with the HFC and borla? that would be awesome.

ya didnt get any pics before i put it in i was to excited. ahahaha. as for power gains i dont know any specifics but it made a noticable difference.

So i had a question. I have a tuner. should i get ta new tune to include the hfc. thanks

So it was an easy install, huh?

My mechanic was whining about swapping out my stock cat back when a bracket first broke, and preferred just welding the bracket (which he's done twice, and which is now probably the source of a rattle AGAIN).

May be C-F-M HFC time for ME, too, then...

oh ya its like 8 bolts. just make sure that you put some wd40 on the nuts before you try and get it out cus they are hard to get off other wise. but ya it was easy.

The feel is enormous and very noticeable. The difference is about 7whp more.

CFM should have a dyno on their site ...

I wouldnt thing that just adding the hfc would make you need a new tune. At the same time it couldnt hurt.

If you already have a reflash or a tune, a new one is not necessary when adding a HFC. On the other hand, if you have the *stock* tune, a new one is a good idea in general, bolt-ons or not.
