cheap horsepower

i already have a ram air kit and exaust on my focus and i've taken some extra weight out too. i have about 200 dollars to spend and i wanna get the most horsepower for the dollar. i was gonna get a sct chip but those are 300 bucks! does anyone have any suggestions??

sneaky pete nitrous system is the cheapest way to go for hp for only 200 bucks.

Try an under-drive pulley kit.
Of course, Nitrous will give you a big boost but it's only temporary.

i don't want nitrous i want my motor to last w/ only stock cylinders and rods. the pulleys are a good idea but does anyone have any other ideas??

well nitrous is the best bang for the buck, so to speak, but since you don't want that...

try some cam gears and once installed get a dyno tune. That'll bump ya up a little bit on the hp side.

save a little more for a race header (350.00?), or do a high flow cat and flex pipe(350.00), or off road pipe and a flex will cost about 200

Def. don't get Pacesetter. They are poorly built. Get something like Focussport or Focus Central.

For improved response that you could feel but not much hp gain, I would say TB or UDP.

pacesetter? yea ok,,listen save some more money and complete ur exhaust or get a tb,,,,not much power, but improved throttle response is a big help when aceelerating

Hotter coil and better plug wires is a thought. . . more spark is always good.
