Well I like cjohn364 took advantage of my 4 day weekend and cleaned up what some people (including myself) called a dead smurf under my hood.....

So did you sand off all the Blue ? ? ? Or was it like vinyl under there ? ? ? or did you re-paint it the car color ? ?

either way ... yea it looks pretty good ... But to tell you the truth I kinda liked the blue.

I sanded it down a little ceramic paint dont sand real easy...well if I had a bigger air compressor I could have used my die grinder but oh well

Love the new look Josh, the blue was just TOO light blue. Darker would have looked good but I love the color matched parts!

i like the way it looks now man. i was the same way. had a lot of blue under the hood, but wanted to tone it down so re-painted stuff black. looks good man.

The grey looks a lot better. Not a fan of brightly painted colored engine bays anyway.

it is Dupli-color Cast Coat Iron (DE1651) Engine enamel...it was the closest I could find to Liquid Grey

I always wanted to see what the cast iron color looked like, looks REALLY good. I may have to look into that color...
