i bought the focus on the whole telescopic wheel/adjustable seat height platform. being six four sucks in small cars, but i wanted a small car taht fit well. the focus does just that.

Rip out the carpet in that ashtray and use that. That is what I would do if I smoke but I don't though and when I did, it was always outside of the car.
We've had a couple different Foci trade-ins that the people didn't know that the felt liner was in there and used it like an ashtray. Very stinky stinky. It was all melted and deformed. If you take OUT the felt and only use it to strickly flick your ashes into, you should be ok. Just don't rest your burnin' cig in it as a holder. Hot cherries can make a mess! (that last sentence was for BACOSTA. hee hee)

Yeah I like the lowering feature on the seat as well. Plus the seat goes back quite far, the telescopic/tilt steering.... This is a perfect tall man's car!

Yeah well for me, seeing my dad die of lung cancer about 6 months ago did it for me, haven't had one smoke since he was diagnosed last September.

Anyway, that's another story.....

CKA, that 'secret compartment' is that in the sedans only? The ZX3 bottom back seat pulls up so that the back seats can fold down completely flat. Just curious....

I'm sure you could get a used tilt column from an auto wrecker and replace your stock one. It will take someone with some experience to do the job to make sure it is done properly. You will also have to switch the ignition from your original steering column.

Since you are talking about things you didn't know your car had...did you know you can turn on the radio without the key in the ignition? It will operate for an hour. Great for playing tunes with the doors open.

this question is a little off topic but my friend drives a ford f-150 and his key can unlock my door and unlock the steering wheel but he cannot start it thank god. will this be covered in the warranty so i can get both the key entry and ignition replaced?

that key thing is normal, there are not to many key combinations out there... so even if they would replace your locks (which i doubt) then someone elses key would work.

about switching out for a telescoping/tint wheel. remember, you have to mess with the airbag too. might want to have a pro look at it.
