yeah it may stay on on the cold side but the hot side will be off real fast, the cold side will probably start chipping fast. Powdercoating isn't the proper option for a turbo, Fo a turbo you need to do a ceramic type coating like Jet Hot Coat

Okay, if you just HAVE to do it, get it ceramic coated in a white or silver, NOT CHROME!!!! Barf!
That crystal black even looks pretty good. I agree with Ian, I don't think powder coat would take the heat, the jet hot coating would be the only thing that MIGHT hold up...That limits your color choices...

Yeah, there's no way powder coating will hold up on the turbo. I wouldn't put anything on the turbo.

[chair]eh crap fail again, i got toooo far into a parking spot and cracked the front of the bottom of his front bumper so some how we are going to end up either buying a new bumper or repairing this one and finding an in expensive but nice looking way to repaint the car, is tha possible?
also if there is nothing loose or misplaced on the turbo does it make a difference that it hasn't got a BOV?
