yeah i am going to go with exel race in black and it is the wheel and tire package 2 on the wheelmax.com site. But they are (215/45/17).Offset?What do you mean?
anybody have them?Any pictures i can see?Doesnt matter what color..Just want pictures.

OK, don't go ordering wheels unless you understand what you're getting into.

you need to know things like offset, hub-centric, wheel weight, in order to make an informed decision about you wheels. otherwise, you're asking for trouble.

here's a good place to read up on this stuff:

http://www.tirerack.com/about/techcenter.html

please read up on some of the things i stated above so that you DON'T end up making a decision you'll regret later.

btw, you'll want the offset to be somewhere between 42-49 mm. 40 can work, but if you plan on dropping the car you'll probably experience some rub, esp. with a tire that tall.

ok the link doesnt say anything about off set,hub centric,or wheel weight.People on here just told me to go with the (215/45/17).They didnt say anything else.I know that its a 4 lug.And thats all i know.Nothing about weight, off set,hub centric.

OK, it does, but here's the exact links:

offset: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/offset.htm

bolt pattern: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/boltpatt.htm

hub-centric: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/centerb.htm

as far as weight goes, lighter is always better. it'll gain you more performance and better gas MPG. you stock wheel weighs somewhere in the vicinity of 20-22 lbs each, so try to find a wheel that is lighter than that. if the wheel is just as heavy, it's not hurting anything but it's not helping, either. i wouldn't recommend going too much heavier bc it adds a lot of stress and strain to your suspension and causes power loss.

as far as tire size goes, here's a good article to explain how tire sizes work so you can be better informed:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/general/size_information.jsp

and here's a link to a tire size calculator that shows you how much your speedometer will be off from stock (roughly):

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

if after you read up on this stuff you have any questions, please feel free to ask. i'm more than happy to help. that's what we're all about!

sorry about this but i am very confused.I looked at all those links. All i know is iam getting them from wheelmax.com and they are 4 Lug Only. And Bolt Pattern: 4x100, 4x114.3, 4x108.And they are 17x7.And (215/45/17).Does that help on what i need to know?Cause i am confused.Once again sorry.

call them up and ask what the offset and weight are. they don't list it. the bolt pattern is right (4x108 aka 4x4.25"), so technically they "fit" the focus, but it doesn't mean they'll work well.

also, have you seen a focus w/ 215/45/17 yet? some don't like the look. i'd have to say i'm one of them. too much rubber IMO. it's also a bigger tire than stock, which means you're car is going to have to work harder to turn it.

did you understand everything in the articles?

yeah i am pretty sure i understand everything in the articles. No i havent seen anybody with them yet.Do you got any pics?I will probably email them if they dont answer then i may call them. They have a place here where i live.

they probably won't answer your e-mail. they're always really busy. they're customer service over the phone should be good, though.

as far as pics, i don't have any immediately, but i'll peruse thourgh the showroom later tonight when i'm bored to see what i can find. you might wanna do a search and see what you can get. ya never know,

ok you dont have to hurry with the pics.I will look around if i dont find any then i will let you know or what.Yeah they dont even have a contact thing on their site.So no way to email them. What would the offset and weight i would want it to be?It will be a while till i even get my wheels. Also what tires would come with the package? It doesnt have pics or name brand or anything with the wheels.

offset: 42-49mm is OK. they'll probably either be 40 or 42. 40 will work as long as you don't plan on doing too extreme a drop or running a huge tire.

weight: if it's less than 20lbs, it's pretty good. if it's 20-25, it's OK, but you're definetely not getting any performance gains. anything more than that and i'd just forget it.

the tires they usually offer are some no-name brand like Wanli, Visa, or something like that. a lot of times they're actually made by the bigger brands, just re-badged. they're not the greatest, but they'll get you going.

ok i am just going to get eibach's prokit and lower it 1.4 in front and 1.5 in back.If they are made for focus' then would it be the right offset and weight for the focus?I new at this kind of stuff...

no, really? lol, just kidding with you.

as i was saying earlier, when they say it "fits" a focus, all they mean is that the bolt pattern is right. that's it. you still need to make sure the offset and weight are at specs that will be tolerable with your ride.
