SVT exhaust...

Alright i currently got a Full Borla Catback. FC downpipe, NO CAT, NO Rezzy... Its loud as [:)][:)][:)][:)]... Really raspy, pops when i let off the gas in the higher RPMs..

Anyway my point, If i get the CFM HFC, along wit the Magnaflow rezzy, i know for a damn fact itll quiet down some but will i lose any performance?

well even the stock svt pops alot at high rpms idling down if thats what you mean. Other wise doin that "should" solve some of your problem, It will defently be deeper with a "rezzy" on there usualy the longer the "rezzy" deeper and such it goes. I dont know if the cat will do anything, but it may help some as well. cant wait till i get my borla mmmm

They both will quiet it down. I'd go with a rezzy first probably a pretty long one too. I know how loud those SVT's can be. My friend had a borla on his. It sounded so sweet then for some strange reason he put some cheapy exhaust on there fart cannon and all. Now its way way way too loud and more annoying than sounding good. I can hear him all the way across town it that freakin' loud. Makes my car sound quiet and my car is freaking loud.

haha yep you must have the zx3 borla on the svt, cuz the svt borla had a resonator, i had one on my '02 svt with the ORP "downpipe" and it was bearably quiet

Is it quieter than the ORP with the stock exhaust? The only reason I;m asking is because I was going to get a HFC and a Trubendz 2.5in borla with magnaflow resonator to quiet it down.

LOL thats guys ima try an pick this up in a couple weeks, if i can ill post a sound click of my current setup... Its loud an u you say even stock exhaust pops? LOL mine sound like GUN SHOTS lol, more like backfire lol

I can put it this way for you: you didn't gain any performance by removing the mufflers, so you won't lose any by putting them on. The only gains you made were by removing the catalytic converter. If you put in a high-flow cat though, you will lose very little; I doubt you'll even notice a difference.

What is a FC downpipe? Downpipes are for turbos.
