I wouldn't screw with a TB. The stock one is already 65mm, so all you are doing is paying $200 for a aftermarket TB of the same diameter. I did forget to mention the Short Throw Shifter as stated above. I put one on mine and damn it was simple. You might look into some Denso Irridium plugs, I got some and even though they are a little pricey you can tell a diffrence. I also wouldn't screw with plug wires seeing that the SVT comes with 8mm (might be 9mm) as it is but I have heard good things about that screaming deamon (correct me on that) coil. I guess it gives you more spark and with the denso plugs those two should kick ass.

well first off the aftermarket tb is 65mm at its smallest point, it goes up to like 72 or something like that, and the stock one is 65mm at its largest point, and then it bottlenecks down. also its not so much the deamon coil pack that makes the magic, its the wires

Well technically the stock "66mm" is a little over 70mm on one side and somewhere around 62mm on the other side and 66mm in the middle somewhere.......the aftermarket TB is around 74mm on one side and 65mm on the other (probably around 68-70mm at the same location the stock TB is measured at)..........just thought I would throw that out! It does add a little HP and TQ with gain on the bottom side of the RPM range. Look at it this way if you plan on upgrading in the future with a SC you wont have a bottleneck going in atleast.

im just going off of the info that ford put out, did anyone else get that "powered by svt" book in the mail, svt sent me a bunch of free stuff in the mail and that book was one of them and in the back it has a bunch of info and specs about all of the svt vehicles and it says that we have a 66mm, so that is where i got the info from.

As already mentioned the short throw shifter is a good mod I am currently saving up for one

i was looking into that performace driving school since we are supposed to get some kind of discount for owning an svt, does anyone know how much of a discount? anyway, it is pretty exspensive. but i might do it next year as my vacation. i think learning to drive your car to the best if its, and your ability would be alot more helpful then buying upgrades to start

But once you start bolting on MODS this will change the way you car handles. Thus having to re-learn the driving process ;p
