ok i have a 2000 zx3 automatic with a AEM CAI Focus Sport Header and magnaflow exhaust i wanna know what performance parts can i put in it to make it hit a 14.0 ???

and in the next week or 2 it will be going into the shop to get port and polished head with 3 angle valve job. comp stage 2 cams basiclly a fully built head forged internals and im gonna see if its not so much hassle change the tranny to standard. so well see how that goes

Is that on the 75 shot?? that time doesn't even seem feasible. thats really fast. i mean, it takes over 220 whp usually to get those times. you would need an lsd, slicks, etc. I know egz make ~14.0 w/ 200 whp, but he had a gutted interior and lsd/slicks. so unless u were running 100 hp jets, thats just really fast. post up a timeslip!! and i hope u tuned it cause thats def. blowing ur engine territory!! and ur tranny WILL NOT last long at all!

It does seem a bit feasable. I mean hes got just about every bolt on possible plus a 75 shot. Gotta be pushing 200whp or more with that.

I mean ur running high 14s urself right Mlbaseball and youve only got 164 whp? Most people wouldnt seem that to be feasable, lol, no offense. Although your car is lighter than most Foci. And trust me i dont doubt u at all, just saying it is possible, but proof of Teams times would be nice too of course!

i didnt not run on a 75 shot i used a 125 shot just for the [
][][][] of it and i got that time but its just a 1 time deal man and i ran my car about 3 times and now imt aking it chilled for a couple of weeks while its in the shop

heck I carry my best slips in my wallet lol. Also though he maybe could have ran a time like that. We get pretty good weather around here and ecspecailly right now is the best time to go the track around here. I plan on making a few runs and two weeks. What do you run with out the spray? I would like to run ya lol.

mlbbaseball if you ran down here I bet you could knock maybe 2 tenths off your time down here. Well when its not so humid lol. I plan on making a few runs in two weeks I'll see if I can bring my 15.7 down to a 15.6 or maybe even a 15.5 like I wanted to run in the first place.
I still want to know what Team XR ZX3 is running without the spray.

quite possibly!!! my only issue is my launch, i can drop time if i can get my 60 ft times down. most of my racing, I don't shift past about 7400 or so cause i don't want to blow my engine!! the time i ran that, i shifted @ 7600 rpm and i had a 2.32 60 ft. earlier in the day, i was running 2.2 60 fts. I just tried pushing it really hard. but this was my best time. if I use full out slicks, i could knock down a 10th or 2. i wouldn't mind comming down there, but its a wee bit of a drive!! haha plus I'm going SC in the spring!!

i borrowed a friends drag radials and the 3 times i ran it was on spray and my best was a 14.2 .the first run i hit a 14.8 second run i hit the 14.2 and the third one i hit a 15.1 but my car bogged nasty
