After having my 03 SVT updated with the latest TSB's for the flywheel clicking fix, the car appears to be having the same problems again after getting the update. It has the new flywheel part...not the older version. The clicking is very low in sound, but the clutch performance has been underwhelming. Does anyone have an aftermarket street/racing clutch flywheel installed that can give me some of their experiences on the item. I'm really looking for who uses what and what is reliable enough to take on the SVT's engine. Thanks!

I know there have been some posts in other threads about this, but some of us are alittle new on what are good clutches and flywheels. I have read about spec clutches but maybe a site or 2 that carries this stuff and them being good quality would be great. Anyone have any experience with these aftermarket parts?

I'll look in my docs to see if I still have the slip for the install. The tech said it was the newer flywheel...but this particular ford dealership is pretty typical...in that they don't really know a whole lot about the issue...other then there was a tsb. I'll see if I can find that documentation on the repair in the next day or two. Meanwhile, anyone wish to share any experiences they have with aftermarket clutch/flywheel combos they may have installed? Please? 8)

Would the new 04's have this new part already installed from the factory? My car was built on 4/6/2004 and I would like to know if I already have the latest flywheel revision?
