Just figured I'd throw out the current prices. F2 isn't as high as it used to be, and the FS is new, so maybe that'll help people from running all over the internet.

OBX (on ebay) $225 +25 shipping. Stainless steel. Apparently includes 2 flex pipes.

F2 $355 +shipping. flex included, SS, and coated.

Focus Sport $360 +shipping. Coated. No flex pipe.

So heres the D.L. On the focus sport header. I called them this mornig and asked them if you need the extra felx pipe that they post on the site, and as I was assuming I would I was rite. Now the guy I talked to said that they would be coming out w/ the what he called the "extra flex pipe".. some early models can us the header w/o the extra flex pipe b/c they aculaly had two under there. But I think for the most part the majority of us d-tecs have one CAT. I asked them when they were going to come out w/ this so called "extra flex pipe" he said "about a month check back." So I dont know why they put it up I think probly abut 90% of the foci out there have the single CAT but I guess it was for those who have the double CAT. I dont know if you could buy just some other CAT and make it work but I'm not going to be the one to try....I konw that the obx comes w two different CATS maybe the extra one from that mite work donno but thats the D/L on the focus sport header. so far........

that FS one is amazing...far better then the F2 one...omg that thing is sick...lol

ya it's not bad looking but still need that extra cat do you think that would cut you whp or you think having an exta cat would sound funny lemme know what you guys think.

umm none of them come with cats, the two different flex-pipes are included in some due to the differences in deck heights of the 2.0 vs 2.3

no cats is technically illegal according to federal law, however the majority of states don't check emissions

also if you are running without a cat you will need a tune of a MIL eliminator to delete the second o2 sensor

Ya, I think I'm gonna stick w/ my obx I dont wanna wait another month for a flex pipe just to install my effin header, i have ben waiting long enough.lol

It might be a rip off of cossie but if it's the same thing then what's wrong with it? FocusSport was the only one selling most of Cossie's stuff anyway... And besides it has the larger primaries which is ideal for us 2.3 d-tecs...

I'm just saying, people have said the bigger primaries are better for the D23. I thought the F2 had 1 5/8 primaries??

Nope 1 3/4. Althought it may have at one point when it was a "step header." On their website now it isn't listed as a step header and it says the primaries are 1 3/4. They have changed it 3 times now so who knows what the last designs were. It very well could have been.

Well for the price i would go with the F2 then...

dunno why the link doesn't work, it's definitely the right url.

Has anyone ever used more than one brand of header on the same engine? That would be the only fair way to tell which was best. I think the biggest issue here will be materials/coatings/quality vs. price.

Well F2 has good quality stuff, i trust them... So does cossie but they dont sell a header for us anymore [:(]
