ok i was planning on buying my new roush supension.. springs, struts, and shocks.. but i realized that the TB is cheaper and will help a little with power and such.. both items are getting sold out of stock and are discontinued.. cant' decide which to go with i want both and the plan is to get the other item next payday.. which should i get first? the $360 suspension or the $199 TB

Everybody is going to say get the suspension first lol. Which TB is going to be discontinued? There's cfm, ford racing and I believe there are others...

I would recommend the suspension. Purely because it will make your car much more fun to drive. The TB is nice, but it won't give you huge gains or anything, just help the throttle response.

id say tb (especially if u have SPI lol) because all focus models lack power...focus suspension is already awesome and with 250 you really cant do anything other than lowering springs....you should wait till you can afford matched dampers its just a completely different and pleasing feel.

^^^ Have to agree, as I can still take a turn at far faster than is posted on original stock suspension, and every available bolt on for the SPI should be snatched up and bolted on posthaste. Just My opinion.

actually the TB is 199... and the suspension total is about $350.. for the whole build.. anyways i just bid (and won) the struts and shocks on ebay.. gettting the springs from another company
but it's all roush..

you will feel the diff mor with the suspension... tb is a waste of money imo

The suspension wont be complete either. Mine is if you want a complete setup already assembled for you for the same money. All Ford Racing. ^^He ^^ just go mine, ask him about it.

haha... hey mike how bout those lca's were totally stuck lol... didn't even budge.. so im gonna use a compressor and get those bastards out...

A TB might get you 3-4whp IF your lucky.... definitly not worth it.

Ok, I'm going to be different. I say go with the TB. SPI parts are getting harder to find all the time. Suspensions are much easier to find. I recently installed the TB on my car and wile it probably didn’t add much horsepower, I can feel a difference. The throttle is more responsive making the car feel faster. That's just my 2¢.

im with collective on this one....bolt on are getting harder and harder to come by. Get the TB cause you never know when it ill disappear. suspension is here and there anytime and our suspension work for all focus' so the library is alot bigger

You dont need a TB to make power. Look at me for exsample, my TB is 5mm smaller then the STOCK Focus SPI TB, yet I'm making 100whp more then most of you. :p

ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR THE TB. A non boosted spi is slow, there is no getting around it!! you will not feel even a 5 whp difference, ur butt dyno can't tell, and in the long run, for accelleration, that's all that counts. The only reason you should go w/ a TB is for throttle response, and you may feel it there, but w/o any other real mods, and on the spi, I am referring to boost, it won't benefit you!! The suspension is something you will be able to FEEL in every corner, just taking it a little faster than b4 gives you more lateral g's. and that you can actually feel!! as for the parts beeing rare, who gives a flying flip!!! if it does you no real good, then what is the purpose??? The spi will not make huge power unless turbo'd, not even on an all out NA build, you'd b lucky to hit the same hp as a simply bolton zetec, so, unless you KNOW u are boosting ur car, go w/ the suspension, ur car will feel like a whole different animal!! else, you will be wasting 200 bucks IMO

*you will also want softer tires too!!
