At the chance of sounding really stupid Im going to ask, does anyone know how to get the face plat off of a 07 cd player without breaking it I would like to start paint my inside parts without breaking them all to heck.[screwy]

Are you refering to the factory head unit? If so, I don't really think its a removable piece, perhaps another member who owns an 07 could shed more light on this for you. Perhaps if you asked one of the Mods to move this to the car adio forum, you might get more specialised help there.

The faceplate don't come off the stock headunit.

Use a plastic screwdriver or a plastic prying tool to slowly lift the interior piece out.

there are 4 8mm bolts behind the radio. you have to remove the radio to get at them

Sounds like this thread belongs in interior mods, not ICE, since he's talking about trim panels / bezels.

If you don't have your answer yet...
All you have to do is pop the little plastic tray out from below the radio/hvac controls, then you can push on the back of the trim panel around the radio and pop it right off.
