Flawless is simply the term for that car espescially to the sound system very clean

The hood is very interesting, with it's built in eyelids and all. And the rest of the car is quite nice, especially the engine bay.

THAT IS BEAUTIFUL. Very nice! I love the hood and how it acts as eyelids! I've never seen one like that one a focus. Mainly on VW's mostly.

Very nice work!

Oh, welcome to FF!

Honest thoughts?

Ride of the YEAR. Hands down.

AMAZING job on this Focus. VERY clean, great ideas, it's got show AND go...man, I feel like a car show judge right now [:p].

My only question is this:

How do you get in!?!? Haha...

Ok, I lied--another question:

What's that under the steering wheel? A deck of some sort...CB radio!? [8] (<--------at me, not you)

Hi Matt,
Now that is sex on wheels. How the heck did you manage to get that interior? Did you order it or found it in a scrapped car? Honestly , it's a sweet ride. I think a lot of N.A. guys here will be jalous, even me (but in a good sense LOL). If ya have more pics, don't hesitate and share, we all like to see.
Paul.

I've seen pics of euro two-tone interiors with that same color scheme before. Ghia model, perhaps?

Anyway, he definitely did some mixing and matching (black door-pull inserts and door-handle bezels, etc.). It just goes to prove that the original Focus interior was a great design and was only held back in some models (especially in the U.S.) by questionable materials and colors...

i managed to find the interoir on ebay of all places, got the seats and doors cards for ÂŁ300 bargin i though, did involve me driving about 200 miles to pick them up but well worth it. and yes i did mix an match the cream and black bits to get a combi i liked.

as far as i know it was out of a focus Ghia estate

Under the steering wheel was my CD multi changer (have since got new headunit so the changer is no longer there)

To get in i fitted solanoids on all the doors, all operated via semi hiden buttons. managed to connect the solanoids to the standard internal door locks so the car still locks as it would normally.

if you look just under the rear spoiler you can see 1 of the buttons for the back door. front one are in the wing mirrors

to be honest though i did this aboout 7 year ago now and maye 3 times since then i've had all 4 doors working at the same time. nightmare. really looking into handle again, would be off a different car, the smallest and soothest ones i can find. so if you have any ideas [woot]

the interior is perfect.

the exterior. not my thing. i love the hood but i dont like the bumper.

nice car tho man. looks really nice. i imagine its fun as hell too
