^^^^ Well, I love Ian for his honesty... I always enjoy the "show" at those type of events... I figure its like art. You need to see some really BAD cars so you know the good ones when you see them..
Ian, just come with me.... we can fill our pockets to bulging with rice, and walk around with small holes in the pockets. Thus, leaving a trail of rice everywhere. It would be fun...Just smile LOTS!!!

^^^ I"ve been trying to get Ashron to go to a Nopi or HIN with me for 3 years!!! I think they are a blast. Yes, there is some SERIOUS rice at them, but just smile and walk by...just like old school hot-rods. Some are awesome, and well.....some aren't.

Sorry, I'm not interested in these type of shows. I don't think I could make it out of there without changing my underwear 10 times from peeing my pants laughing. And believe me I couldn't keep it to just a giggle.....[chairfall]
I know everyone has different tastes but shows like this I just won't go to. And Bill you're not gonna make me! LOL.

^^^^ Oh, don't get me wrong. Owning a motorcycle shop all those years taught me to appreciate other styles than mine... I may go to a Nopi show and see a car that is totally NOT me ( wouldn't be caught dead in it), but I can still appreciate the work, time, and sweat that went into the car... All joking aside, some of the Hispanic guys are marvelous at making $50 worth of parts look great, and there are some guys out there that spray some amazing paint work... However, there are the other guys that build things that make me wonder if they have any friends to them them it looks bad. You guys know what I mean... So yeah, that is why I enjoy those shows.
I have been to several car shows as a judge, and sometimes its pretty cool what people come up with, and well. Sometimes its not....Kind of like the fish tank craze a while back.LOL
I haven't been to a NOPI in a few years. I"ll have to look at the schedule.
That''s why you should show and show them how it's supposed to be done.

i think there is one in june in maryland also on the 14 that im gonna go to. i enjoy the shows only cause i used to participate in the ford class and win alot. but there are cars at the show you see and ask what the hell was that guy thinking. as for hin shows id go but i've got my mind set to go to the one in md rather then viriginia only due to the return trip home.

I think she should show lil' red. If she gets the euro plate in time she'll fit right in. I seriously think a few of us could show them how it's done. I think lil' red could compete for best ford, just make sure the NAWZ bottle is showing LOL!
