About cobra badges facing different ways- On our 99 the Drivers side emblem faced forward as did the passenger, but on our 03 the drivers side faces forward, and passengers faces backwards...

they would look good..if you had the cobra motor swap in your car, but since you dont take them off.
I feel that by having false badges on your car your just setting yourself up for a ton of ridicule. Better to make it a sleeper and remove all signs of anything you have under the hood and just let the time slips speak for themselves. If I pulled up next to you at a light I'd probably double take too but not because I want some cobra emblems on my foci. It's your perogative to do what you like with your car..maybe next should be a mustang hood.

Yea i think people would think more on the performance side of things from the badges instead of it looks good or youre "paying homage to a faster car." like someone else said, I might as well put GT-R or Type-R decals on my car....but if it were me id think you had a motor swap or something....but then again im the kind of guy that if you rev at me at a light, i wont do anything until the light turns green and then all you see is my taillights.

Yeah, I don't like those either. I know someone said about the svt wheels but at least those actually come on a focus. I've been thinking about buying the svt wheels and all the svt body stuff for my 2.3 zx3. In the end I will have a 2.3 svt which is the best of both worlds as of now. Its still something a think twice about though because its still not a real svt but it would look good. I've been having alot of ideas for my car lately. But back to those badges, I would take those off but it is your car. Personally, I don't want people to think I have something other than stock parts under my hood.
IMO take them off you didn't put them on but i would certainly take them off I belive in having a customized car but no one likes posers
and just for the record a poser is a poser no matter how bad your posing johnny you don't have an SVT if you put SVT rims and body kit on ur car it won't be an SVT it will be a Pzev with SVT rims and bodykit you will be a poser to while your at it you might as well put on some cobra badges

ehh i don't feel one way or the the other, but whoever was saying its stupid to put svt rims on a regular zx3, thats not so bad, I mean what if you like the design?. I like the euro rims, was thinking of getting them... not to make my car look like a zx3 but cuz I like em... so yeah 
its all a matter of opinion if you wanna put SVT stuff on your regular focus go for it
IMO your a poser everyone always rags on people with Type R badges on there civics putting SVT stuff on a non-SVT focus is just as bad as throwing Type R badges on a non Type R civic

Who cares what anyone thinks, if you like it, keep it, put it on, whatever. Just know that if you do put something on your car that others would consider rice or whatever, be ready for some serious message board backlash cause that's the way it is.
Puttting SVT rims on a ZX3 is in no way stupid at all. That is just plain stupid. But in the defence of the guy that originall posted that, if you are pretending your car is a SVT then yeah, your a poser. If you like the rim style, then IMO your not.
People that judge others cars need to chill and be ready to take the same treatment if someone says something about their car.

Yeah, you do sound like a dick and to be honest I think all the svt owners on here get defensive when ecountered about a 2.3. I have never once read anything good when an svt owner gets to talking about a 2.3. Your car is not the hottest thing out there. It does look good and thats why I want to change over. Also, why would I put those badges on my car, they don't belong on it. An svt focus is still a focus, it looks better then a zx3. I don't want any of the other body kits out there because they look like crap to me besides maybe the steeda. Anyway it is my car right or should I ask what you suggest I do to my car.

I'm not going to pretend my car is an svt. I might of said in my post that it would be a 2.3 svt but I didn't mean it like that. If I really wanted it to be an svt I would do all the interior to and get a svt badge. I like the styling of the svt. If I do these things to it it will be somthing differrent and it deffinately won't look bad. So the people that are putting the rs bumpers and fenders on their cars posers also?
