Have you ever washed your car and done a beautiful job on it, and then it snows like 4" that night and then melts the next day so that your car is filthy like less than 24 hours after you washed it? Thought I would just share my hatred for the weather...

I used to work in a rock quarry so If i did wash my car by Monday night it would be dirty as heck and look like it never got washed. So glad i don't work there anymore. Even though now i drive like an hour and the roads have been pretty bad its still not as bad as the quarry.

Heck yeah. What always happens to me is I'll spend 6-8 bucks washing it at the do-it-yourself wash bay, hop on the interstate to quick dry, and all the previous snow fall will be melting from the median causing a mist of dirty water. Sucks. But I figure I at least got the salt off.

Happened 2 weeks ago.

and a month before that.

and 3 weeks before that.

Literally the last 3 times I have washed my car.

im lucky if i can get my car home from the wash and it still be clean, and i live 1/2 mile from the diy wash bay, cleane dit on saturday got it home, went slow and all doging stuff, got home and its was filthy again, didnt look like it was washed.......

but I can imagine what I would do if that happened [rant] !!!!

That's happened the past 3 times I've washed my car, so I i just decided that I'm never gonna wash it during winter again

i summon the rain gods every time i wash my car..
i have gotten to the point where i don't wash it for it to look nice, i just wash it to protect the paint

i dont have a summer issue ever, i go a few days with it clean, so thats cool, but i wash my car weekly/biweekly, depends on what method i use, 11 dolla wash is by weekly, diy is weekly due to being only a few bucks, and i spray under the car for a long time to get all the salt and snow off!
