Again, I'm from Toronto Canada... and I have contacted a few MBRP dealers and none of them carries any header.

I'm just wondering if anyone from Toronto can tell me where to get a header for the 2.0...

yeah no point in buying ANYTHING from a shop unless its a major sale...F2 has the best headers you can find for the duratec now

Yeah.. I saw that on the F2 website too.. But which one is for our 2.0?? I'm not even sure if my engine is a PZEV or not...

Also I have asked the shop today, (I just bought a MagnaFlow System, Love it).. and they told me that it will take 4 hours to install and also may need to relocate my Converter.. is it true??

i installed my f2 header in 2 hours by myself. and they would have to relocate your cat so they can "legally" do it... otherwise if they install the header and dont install a new cat then they are removing a government issued emissions device.

but i dont have cat's on my car... i do all my own work and we dont have testing.

yeah, they don't test me either. haha
I just have one cat in the header, but that's because I have no aftermarket yet, I took the one out of the exhaust, makes a big difference in a PZEV.
Anywho, go with the F2 it's one of the better ones, if you are gonna turbo your car, get it ceramic coated...

Wait.. so if i get the F2header and flexpipe.. the shop can make it street legal? like.. emissions legal.. im not sure if my city does emissions testing or what type of testing they do.. but i want headers bad

EDIT: i just found this on my countys emissions site thing

Gas vehicles 1996 and newer
These vehicles are equipped with OnBoard Diagnostic (OBD) equipment. The process will verify that the OBD functions correctly and will gather emissions data stored in the vehicle’s computer. A pressurized gas cap leak check will also be conducted.

Would headers make me fail that test?

hey but what about the cosworth headers
their not as good as the f2 ones??????

steve - if your city only does an OBD2 scan... get a tuner when you get the header and disable the rear 02 sensor... and nothing will be picked up on the OBd2 scan thus you'll pass.

but if you want to pass a sniffer test if you get the header you'll have to find a place to install 2 cat's in your exhaust system... which i dont see really easy as you'll need a muffler, to quiet it down and also not sound like ass.

if you have the 2.3duratec motor.. get the cosworth header... its made for the 2.3
if you have the 2.0 duratec get the f2 header.. its built primarily for the 2.0 but they both will still work vise versa, but the f2 has smaller primaries which are better suited for the small 2.0 while the cosworth has larger primaries better suited for the 2.3.

From what is on the site they just do the OBD test and a gas cap pressurization test. I plan on getting an exhaust soon, then prob an Excal2 before the headers. Since getting inspected is a yearly thing. So i can get my headers.. and it will still pass.. mwuhahah [deviltail]
