I will see about having a gtg at my house in a couple of weeks. Either we can just run off of the myspace one or we can think about creating a new site. I know nothing about how to run a site either but I think with the friendships that have been made and the popularity of the focus, we can keep a good thing going.

we should just take over the SOCAL threads on here.....or theres a site called team-socal.com or something like that...theres not alot of activity i posted on it back in the day and bumped into last night....

lets take it over!!

Hey Lee, since the best website ever was shut down, I do not think you got my last message. I have to work tonight. Can you come over wednesday?

I say stick to FF of FJ... I never see any drama or problems happening on here... The admins are on top of everything..... and dont take any BS
There is a reason for that. This site is too big for drama. No one can get to know anyone because everyone is talking to a "website" friend. When people get together in person, you are able to get to know them for who they are. Some people mesh and others don't, such is life. SoCal was better because it was personal and local. I made more friends from SoCal Fanatics in 7 months than I made on this site in 2-1/2 years. Anyway, that is my comment on that topic.

GIL

yeah sure that's fine gil. i was wanting to call you but can't, your phone # was on the other site lol. yeah i can come by wednesday night.

i was wanting to come over tonight to see if you have a tool i need to change my gf's brakes. i need a allen wrech for my socket i think it's a #10 or 5/16". damn GM can't use a typical bolt on their calipers. i swear every time i work on her car, it pisses me off in one way or another....

It was very disorganized. That was a main reason why I didn't post there any more. Quite a few key people (I'm not naming any names) made it feel like us the admin were babysitting a bunch of 5 year olds. We tried to keep things in line and tried to have a professional site, but some of you went back to post whoring, name calling, straight rudness, etc. It felt like FJ the way some of you carried on.

I for one am glad it's gone, but if you want to purchase it from Rob, by all means buy it. If you carry on they way you are, your site will never lift off the ground.

I still don't know why it's gone, but oh well.

I've said my peace...............

rob is having issues with his ex wife. so he took the site down as she was trying to take it from him as well as other things. there are many other issues.

at the moment we will use the FF SoCal forum to talk and gtg....most of us know each other and if we wanna hang out then so be it. if you dont wanna hang out ok then as well.

we are working on getting socalfanatics.com back up and running. give us a few days im sorry for the delay.

I do have to say though before my post gets misconstrued, SCF was a great site. I met alot of awesome people there that I prolly couldn't have anywhere else and had some great memories of So Cal do to that site. It was just real hard sometimes to justify being a part of a site that had so much disorder. All my post stated was that something awesome can be ran into the ground very quickly if you're not carefull, so take knowledge from this site (Focus Fanatics) and move forward. Think about your posts and how you project as a club and you'll do great.

scf will continue to be a great site. itll be back in a few days. no sweat.
