I will not pursue the route of forced induction anymore.

I have #1978, whether that means anything to you or not it doesn't matter to me. Most ppl don't give a rats behind. I need to keep this car intact, to be able to return it to stock one day and preserve it. I plan on installing the mods I have, and then enjoying the car as it stands. Once I get another focus, this one will go back to stock......I still have everything.

I'll be getting another focus one day, hopefully SVT, and going absolutely nuts with a big 'ol turbo, and all the other goodies. I realized while buying all kinds of stuff for my car on the deployment that I was taking away from what the car was meant to be, and possibly crapping it up. So BEFORE I go and fry the engine, I will stop the insanity.

I have never thought about boosting my or any car so much in these last 3 months.....I am going nuts......lol........I only have 3 grand, and I am NOT gonna go and blow it on boost......nope....not doing it......All I think about it freaking turbo's and installing shit and going fast....but I don't think I need to go THAT fast........

I'll post up picts here in a few days of the finished #1978. N/A.

I'll be home tomorrow....[:)]

you will like the end product, I promise.......[burnout]

yeah, but it's the last....and I want it complete...

I beat it HARD daily....btw.....[hihi]

It's kinda like having a boss 429 w/matching motor, and having one without.......real enthusiast will care one day......and now they do. Like I said when I first got it on here...I will try to keep it original in the sense that it will be able to be put back to original. [thumb]

idk, IMO having 1978 of 1978 is as just about as special as have the the first one. you made a good decision. i would try to keep the mileage down too if you can

^^yeah.......it's at 36,000 right now...just past the warranty...lol

that is gonna be hard, considering I CAN'T stop driving it.....hehehe

We are definitely in the same boat, Bluey. I was in the process of having Mike give me allll the juicy details involving a ProCharger install, and I was actually going to drive up and have him do it, with Tom Dyno-Tuning it as well.

I think you and I made a wise decision in saving serious cash on a limited production car. I just made 62,000 miles a few days ago, and the last thing I need is boosted engine.

yeah.......

but the NEXT SVTF I have....OMG......wait fir it...it may be years.....but just wait for it.......Hopefully it's black...cause it's gonna be NASTY.....

Bluey -

We are cut from the same cloth.

i recognize that in the greater scheme of things that my little SVT is somewhat unique.

Given that they aren't made anymore, there is a certain pride that goes along with being able to say...

"I am the last."

im gonna run mine into the ground, and then buy a real car, something like a new evo, or the new sti hatch comming out.

Are you SURE we cant tempt you into going for boost...........

oh, I WANT it....but this car won't get it.....

the NEXT focus will.....and my numbers will be around that......

feels "like you are on the interstate and you got rear-ended by a semi doing 100"

yeah....just like that

Hopefully it's black
[eek] Ex-squeeze-me? What was that about the InfraRed looking better than the Phantom PitchBlack... [hihi]
