oh man lol i changed my mind now i contacted the company blaast and they said they have a 100% bolt on kit that utilizes the factory exhaust 3 bolt manifold. there is supposivedly an adaptor that you bolt the 3 bolt exhaust header to..
well here is what they said
"But the stage 1 bolts to the car with no problems whatsoever.
You don'T even have to remove the stock header!! You unbolt the cat and simply mount the turbo adaptor on it! the turbo, wastegate and downpipe are ALREADY bolted together so you have only 3 bolts to screw!!!!.
for installing the intercooler, removal of the bumper is NOT REQUIRED. It simply bolts on."

tom... anyone lol i appreciate the help with this i dont want to buy a junk kit.
i asked them for pics of the kit just now and will throw it up on ff when i get it so stay tuned

here is the link for the kit its the stage one

My best advice to you, man, is to STOP SURFING EBAY ALL THE TIME!!! LOOK ELSEWHERE...LIKE HERE!!! Seriously...you GET what you PAY for with ANY car parts (and almost anything in the world), so don't go cheap. Just don't even think you can get away with it. Get good quality stuff from the start and go from there. Yes, it's been said before and will be said again, it will cost you more, but you and everybody else will be 100 million times happier about it. Please, if you are going to do any sort of FI, listen to the gobs of people on here that have done it and still do it, and get the kits THEY recommend. Please...I beg you. It is making me sad...

The blast stg1 kit wouldnt be that bad if they would spend a little time on how they do the piping and some of the details , It looks like my Sister did the fab work on it and the welding

I think a kit like this would go over good and the stock header would do very well for a low budget 180 to 220HP kit perfect for the stock engine but this kit needs more work and at the point its at i would pass on it

what do you mean the kit needs more work tom?
btw thats the power range i wanted.
maybe the focussport supercharger its cheap and you get like 167 hp on a stock foci which isnt too great but isnt too bad.

maybe i will have to wait longer than i had hoped to get fi if this kit does not seem to be great.
or maybe just give up on my dreams of FI alltogether

^^that's what Tom says too, and he has a point, but I still really like the idea of supercharging, and of having immediate power at the pedal, not power that takes a little while to spool up. That's just what I like and what I'm probably going for, but let's not get into another one of those turbo vs. supercharger arguments, because I know about that already...

You will want more and you can make 167 NA with some work.

With a procharger I pulled 254fwhp with a FR head and a set of cams on 10psi. Went back to stock head and cams, made 220.

On a side note, if you are stuck to a budget, you're better off making stuff yourself, getting second hand kits and saving 2x the budget for any issues that come up.
