My check engine lights on because of my intake and it makes my car eat shit at about 4000 RPM would my engine light do that?

recheck everything on your intake to make sure you don't have a leak after your MAF... Other than that pull the code and let us know what it is...

well it says the pcm has determined that the mass air flow input is lower than expected for he curent engine operaing condtons.

What kind of "intake" do you have? Also did you have to remove the MAF when installing the intake? If so, might want to recheck the placement of the MAF. Easy enough to place it upside down where the air isn't being metered correctly....?

Its possible. Its an easy thing to check for. Just make sure the sampling side of the MAF is pointed away from the TB, so it can sample incoming air.

thanx buddy imma just redo my whole instake and make sure all the stuff is correct if that doesnt work im just gonna put her back to stock...

Here's another thing for you if you didn't do it already. Take off the negative terminal of your battery and let the ECU go blank. Some people say 30min. but give it as much time as you can.
