If you install SVT header and a high flow cat after the flex pipe, how will you deal with a check engine light(it should turn on as soon as you take of your stock cat) ?
THE SVT Header does not have the Cat after the Flexpipe. It goes SVT Header, R/T High-Flow Cat, Flex Pipe, Cat-Back Exhaust. Any Farther away and your CAT would be useless. The SVT Header moves the cat back a little bit, you'll need 02 Extensions in Order to reach the Before the Cat 02 Sensor and the After Cat 02 Sensor.

yeah thats what i thought...only thing is that $325 for a hi-flow cat seems pricey...wondering if anyone has had a cat welded in between the header and flex and passed emissions??

If you buy a turbo, you will need a turbo manifold that should come with the kit I think (unless the turbo bolts right to the stock size exhaust manifold? if so, never heard of a zetec kit like that). Don't buy the header unless you know for sure because you will end up swapping it out again.

That's right. Intake manifold (air coming into the cylinder head), and exhaust manifold (header)(air leaving the cylinder head)

Not unless you do a custom build. All the Zetec kits I know of contain a turbo manifold that is specially built to fit against the turbo. The thing is, if you route the pipe down to the stock location, you run out of room down there. Usually the turbo goes over near or in place of the battery, thus the manifold has to come out sideways to get to the turbo and then a pipe down and underneath the car.

The XIOS Turbo for the Zetec bolts on after the stock exhaust manifold & cat.
Well in that case, if you get this kit then you can use an aftermarket shorty header. Don't know how much you'd get by changing it out. Could be a lot, could be minimal, I have no idea really, you'd have to look at some dynos to see if it's worth it.

2.0L FOCUS SVT LONG TUBE HEADER $275.00
2 1/4"" Stainless Steel Flexpipe Zetec $129.00
Random Tech Cat SVT Header on Zetec Size 2 1/4 $325.00
O2 Extension Harness (Pair) $34.95
BORLA 2.0L FOCUS EX ZX3&5 $345.00

Subtotal: $1,108.95

The SVT Header is the more Expensive route [thumb] Obviously you can go with a Different cat-back and go with an ORP. All prices quoted from McNewsAutomotive.com and without shipping!
Does anyone know how much gain this all would give? Considering that nothing else was really done to the car besides some other basic bolt ons.

That really depends on what the other bolt-ons are. Better breathing in the key to better engine performance, that is why FI is best. If you free up your exhaust end—you will have to make the intake side more efficient. i.e. ported intake manifold, larger tb, better intake, better head or FI.
