whatz goin on folks, new to the forum, livin in the QC, IL, originally from Cali.....drive a 2000 ZX3,haven't done any mods yet, looking to get a short ram intake among other small mods

quick question, i need to replace a bulb in the sidemarker lights on the front bumper, does anyone know the easy way to do that or thread that discuss that? i 've searched and i haven't found anything

Thanks

the sidemarker light is easy...

get under the bumper where it is...

you should see a plug that is connected to the light that is inside the bumper

turn the plug(i cant remember which way...lol) and it pops right out... pull out old bulb, insert new one, install in reverse order, and woot! got the light in

p.s welcome!

thanks everyone for the welcome, i've been searchin thru some of the forums for mods i want to do, very helpful....first mod is going to be a short ram intake, so i'm reading up on all i can now

Sidemarker bulb number would be 194. I live in Cedar Rapids which isn't too far from QC. It's nice to see other Focus enthusiasts in the area. Good luck with your future mods and you should let me know if you need any help [thumb]

Cheers!

HERE is a link to a few Basic Bolt-On Threads that may help answer some of your questions. I would highly recommend the Volant or Pipercross Intakes though. You should buy the intake that you like the most though. If you go with a cold air intake, be sure to invest in a bypass valve.

Cheers!

All short rams are pretty much the same...combination of a tube, cone filter and 90 degree elbow with a hole for the MAF to stick through and a bung for the valve breather hose. I'd be more concerned with the filter you're getting than the rest of the hardware.

i actually just posted this on a similar thread, haha...i think volant would get the most votes in a flash on this forum...but if ur looking for short ram, i recommend the steeda short ram, its been good to me so far

EDIT: [welcome] [welcome] [welcome] to FF, i havent been able to leave this site for more than 24 hours since i joined...

if your looking for a short ram intake... save yourself some money and experiment yourself and make your own. Take the housing of the tube that holds your MAF and just make it out of that... a.) save yourself like $100+ b.) it work just as good.

out of question whats QC? where is it?
